TAs: What Does it Mean to Work in a Catholic School?

Focus: Catholic Life
For: TAs

Description:

Your TAs are doing a brilliant job supporting basic skills and raising academic standards. Do they know what it means to work in a Catholic school? What makes it any different from the fabulous local authority school around the corner?

Support your TAs to consider the faith life of your school and the way they can support children in their faith journey, this session might give your TAs the opportunity to reflect on what faith means in their own lives.

Sign them up for an afternoon with Mgr Timothy Menezes, Dean of St Chad’s Cathedral and Parish Priest of Sacred Heart Church, Aston, Birmingham to discuss what it really means to work in a Catholic school.

Open to TAs of any faith background.

Director’s Note:

How are you investing in the formation of staff? A question you will be considering as you complete your CSED. Here’s a great opportunity to support your TAs in this. Make it an afternoon together, hosted by the HT or RE leader, start with your own prayer time before the session, make it a fabulous afternoon. Get all TAs booked on.
