Stress Response and De-escalation for Teachers

Focus: Catholic Life
For: Teachers (other interested staff also very welcome)

Description:

Why some children don’t cope well in school… and what to do to support

With around 1 in 5 children now thought to be suffering with anxiety, meeting the needs of all of your learners can be tricky. In this training we’ll delve into the causes and effects of stress on children’s brains and share ideas of what you can do to help children cope and thrive in your class.

Director’s Note:

I really think this session is going to be so powerful. It’s booked directly as a result of your feedback. You’ve told us you need support with this. Here it is.
