Continuous Professional Development and Formation
Since 1995 the Catholic Primary Partnership has delivered its core purpose to promote curriculum and professional development to enhance the quality of teaching and learning in member schools.
We provide high quality Continuous Professional Development and Formation (CPDF) to leaders at all levels in our schools.
CPDF is provided for governors, headteachers, senior leaders, middle leaders, SENCOs, HLTAs, TAs, administrative staff, bursars and school business managers via both face-to-face sessions in centrally located venues or via Zoom. We also offer support groups for leaders at various stages of their careers.
A yearly overview of CPDF available throughout the academic year is sent to headteachers annually to promote planning the school diary.
Attendance at courses can be booked via this website or email j.tallon@newman.ac.uk with any queries.
Costs
As part of their membership, all schools can send a delegate to each course for no additional charge (two-form entry schools can send two delegates; three-form entry schools can send three delegates).
Unless otherwise stated, member schools will be charged £25 for extra delegates on an online course and £40 for a face to face course. This is great value and we urge you to send multiple attendees, so that colleagues can share and develop the ideas they have heard on our high quality CPDF, together, back in school.
All Governors attending a course will be charged £15 per person.
If your school has been judged Grade 3 or 4 by Ofsted, please contact the Director of the Catholic Primary Partnership for a conversation about what extra (free) support we can offer.
Non-affiliated schools may book places on these courses, subject to availability, at a rate of £150 per head.
It is important that delegates attending courses have been booked onto each course through the CPP office.
All cancellations must be made five working days before the course date unless stated. As the Partnership falls liable to charges for meals and refreshments etc, failure to cancel bookings, or attend a course on the day, will result in a £40 per person per online session and £60 per person on a face to face session.
Details of courses will be sent directly to attendees via email at least one week in advance of each course.
