SEND in EYFS: Effective Provision and Practice

Focus: Curriculum
For: EYFS staff, SENDCOs, Year 1 staff very welcome

Description:

In this session, we will focus on the importance of ensuring that our provision and practice is tailored to the needs of our cohort of children and how to best do this effectively.  The session will detail the assess, plan, do, review process (the graduated response) and how to ensure that practitioners, pupils and parents/carers have a voice in this process, so that it has an effective impact.  As an EYFS/KS1 specialist and experienced SENDCo, I will reflect on the importance of developing the prime areas of PSED, Communication and Language and Physical Development, through quality first teaching and learning opportunities.

Director’s Note:

We have had so many requests for support in this area. Here it is.
