The information below is about the statutory responsibility governing bodies continue to have, to monitor and manage the performance of headteachers on an annual basis, and to ensure that objectives have been agreed or set for the headteachers, on or before 31 December each year.

Below is a copy of a letter previously sent out to schools, together with paperwork that will enable headteachers and governors to book an external adviser for the next cycle of performance management of headteachers.
